Sit A Spell

 I got the results back from the Doctor yesterday. All of the breast, skin, nipple and chest wall that was directly behind the tumor are negative for cancer!  So that in itself is wonderful news. So I know I don’t need radiation. I would like to know if I can have my NIPPLE BACK!   The doctor recommended chemo and hormone therapy in small amounts as where the tumor was it was near a vessel and my lobules and my estrogen levels were positive so they are “suspicious” of it having entered my vascular system. The word suspicious is a broad term to cover their butts in case it actually has entered my vascular system.  They can’t say that for a fact.  I will be seeing an Oncologist to discuss this further and continue with some more tests to prove or disprove this “suspicious” theory. Looking at the boob that was once there is a bit sad,  But I will get a new one and all will be good for my ego!    Since I have gotten the go ahead to drive again I will be going out this weekend, as there are few holiday parties I need to go to!  My attitude is pretty positive, but I know that time will heal .  I just want it to heal for another 44 years! Once the drains are removed I will be doing a road trip earlier than I thought.  I should ask the doctors if it’s okay, but Nah I’ll do it in between my appointments and before I go back to work.  Thelma and Louise anyone?
